Eight years ago, freelancing in the fashion industry was a rare prospect—most designers were stuck in the relentless grind of traditional 9-5 jobs where designing fast fashion was seen as glamorous and admirable. However, Dani's journey began with a desire for more supply chain appreciation, opportunity, and transparency for small businesses like her own when she started Piccolo & Mi Childrenswear.

While acknowledging the challenges of running a fashion business even on the other side—relying on resilience, persistence, and discipline—Dani believes that genuine passion for the craft will always carry you through the sleepness nights, hard decisions, frustrations and some of the lowest of lows you will experience when custom manufacturing (trust us - fashion comes with just as much risk as reward!)
